RASK partner and head of the employment law practice Annika Vait has taken on the role of co-head of the working group on equal treatment and employee well-being at Kestliku Ettevõtluse Liit KELL (Sustainable Business Estonia).
The working group brings together HR managers, major employers and experts in the field to share practical experience and find solutions to issues relating to equal treatment and employee well-being. One of the working group's key areas of focus is the prevention of, and response to, workplace bullying within organisations.
Annika advises businesses on both employment law and broader business-related matters and is a recognised business advisor. As co-head of the working group, she aims to bring an employer's practical perspective to the discussion – specifically, how to shape the working environment and management practices to prevent problems while navigating an increasingly complex regulatory environment.
"It is becoming increasingly difficult for employers to navigate the growing array of requirements and expectations. Creating a good working environment is not just about reacting to problems – it is far more important to know how to prevent them. Through this working group, we aim to bring together the experience of employers, HR managers and experts to find practical solutions that will help companies manage these issues more effectively," said Annika Vait.
