Organising large-scale events, managing contractual relationships in the sports sector and executing media industry projects involve a distinct legal dynamic. As a long-term legal partner of Rally Estonia, we have advised on the organisation of FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) stages in Estonia, supported the Weekend Festival team in delivering the largest music festival in the Baltics, and assisted the Estonian Ski Association with hosting FIS Cross-Country and Nordic Combined World Cup events at Tallinn Song Festival Grounds and in Otepää. We have also participated in appeal proceedings of the Estonian Olympic Committee and the Estonian Autosport Union, advised on the establishment of an Estonian Basketball League club, and supported landmark film productions in Estonia, such as Truth and Justice and The Agency – some of the country’s largest international co-production projects.

In sports law, we advise clubs, associations and individual athletes. Our expertise includes drafting athlete and coach agreements, sponsorship and advertising contracts, scholarship arrangements and transfer agreements. We also represent clients in sports disputes in Estonia and in proceedings before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). RASK’s advisors have supported clients in formalising club-transfer agreements as well as challenging disciplinary decisions and competition bans, safeguarding athletes’ rights and ensuring fair proceedings.
In the field of media projects and audiovisual production, we assist both domestic and international productions – preparing artist and performer agreements, licensing and distribution contracts, as well as data-protection arrangements between media partners and third parties. Ramon Rask is a founding partner of RASK Law Firm and a recognised expert in corporate law and strategic advisory.
