RASK represents Estonia's largest film production company in 2.3 million euro dispute.

Case

RASK represented one of Estonia’s most well-known film producers Allfilm in a dispute involving a request to revoke the Estonian Film Institute’s votes in the Eesti Vabariik 100 film competition.

In December 2012, the competition for producing films for the Republic of Estonia’s 100th anniversary was announced.

Factory OÜ, who did not receive any financing, opposed the results in the Administrative Court. Both the Administrative Court and the District Court dismissed Factory OÜ’s appeal.

In mid-September this year, the Supreme Court did not accept the appeal of Factory OÜ, which finally confirmed the legality of the subsidy granted to Allfilm.

Allfilm OÜ is Estonia’s largest film studio, whose activities range from the production of documentary films to the production of television commercials, music videos, motion picture films and television series.
