Technology Law: Fintech, Startups, AI and IT
RASK is a leading technology law firm advising startups and technology companies across sectors such as fintech, artificial intelligence, blockchain, and data protection – from capital raising to regulatory compliance and intellectual property.
Field information
Our toolkit covers the full lifecycle of a technology company – from founder and shareholder agreements, articles of association and investment contracts (including SAFE and other convertible instruments), to option plans and option pools, cloud and software development agreements, SaaS and on-premise solutions, licensing and maintenance agreements, confidentiality agreements (NDAs), and all essential general terms and conditions.
We support clients in navigating regulatory requirements, intellectual property and copyright protection, and ensuring compliance with data protection laws.
RASK has been selected as a legal partner by numerous Estonian and international technology companies, including UpCatalyst, Cleveron, Ridango, Bisly and Depowise. Recent projects include advising on the restructuring of Planet42 and the establishment of holding structures, as well as providing legal support in M&A transactions, disputes, capital raising, and investor relations.
In addition, RASK’s attorneys serve as mentors and advisors in leading Baltic startup accelerators such as LIFT99, Tehnopol Startup Incubator, Startup Wise Guys, Ready2Scale, and Salto, and have contributed to the success of major initiatives like The Global Hack and other sector-specific development programmes.
