Attorney-at-Law Siret Saks writes about recruiting foreign labour in Postimees

On 4 June, RASK’s attorney-at-law Siret Saks writes in one of the largest newspapers in Estonia, Postimees, about problems related to the recruitment of foreign labour and the contradiction between the goals set by the state and reality.

Despite the state’s numerous development plans and strategy papers, which emphasize the importance of attracting and employing foreign labour to ensure economic competitiveness, there is still no clear and unambiguous action plan to simplify external clearance. Siret outlines three specific concerns in her article and draws attention to the need for more courageous and clear decisions at the government level to reduce existing gaps and inconsistencies.
