As part of the 100th anniversary of the Estonian Bar Association and the Back to School (Tagasi Kooli) programme, RASK attorney Andrei Svištš visited Räpina high school on 11 October to talk to students about the legal profession and synergies between the media and the legal system.
"I believe that introducing young people to different professions in such a direct way and helping them in their career choices is an extremely commendable joint initiative by the Estonian Bar Association and the Back to School programme. I was delighted to visit my old school, see my teachers again and meet the new generation, who show great interest in the contact points between society and the legal system," said Andrei, commenting on his experience of addressing the school. He would recommend his colleagues also get involved in the project.
Back to School (Tagasi Kooli) is a citizens' initiative designed to help basic and high school students acquire life skills to succeed in society. In autumn 2019, the initiative focuses on career choices to help students make informed decisions about their future.
