RASK consulted Maag Grupp on
selling its 29% stake in Nõo Lihatööstus. As part of the transaction, Maag
Grupp’s subsidiary Karukoobas OÜ sold all its shares in Nõo Lihatööstus.
RASK’s attorneys represented
the client in developing the transaction structure, preparing the
documentation, addressing related tax issues and carrying out negotiations with
Nõo Lihatööstus. As a result of the transaction, ongoing court disputes between
the parties were terminated.
MAAG Grupp AS is a food
industry group based on 100% Estonian capital, bringing together many of
Estonia’s best-known food brands, such as Farmi, Tere and Rannarootsi.
Nõo Lihatööstus OÜ is one of the largest meat producers in Estonia, with almost 200 employees.
