RASK advises the Estonian Fund for Nature, one of the most important organisations in Estonia
Case
The Estonian Fund for Nature (ELF) is one of the most important and
influential non-government organisations in Estonia, whose goal is to ensure
the protection of nature through cooperation using professional expertise and
modern environmental solutions.
Since its establishment in 1991, the ELF has initiated the establishment of
many national parks and nature reserves alongside the extensive mapping of
Estonian natural assets. In addition to nature protection, the ELF actively
contributes to the sustainable use of natural resources, raising environmental
awareness and maintaining a clean living environment.
The Estonian Fund for Nature Foundation is politically and economically
independent, providing society with the necessary expertise for nature conservation.
It also helps unite the state and research organisations, businesses and active
citizens in their efforts in protecting common natural resources.
