RASK advises the sale of 3 energy companies to Elektrum Eesti.

Case

RASK advised the sellers in a transaction involving three companies active in the energy sector: Energiaturu Võrguehitus, SNL Energia, and Baltic Energy System to Elektrum Eesti. The transaction was approved by the Estonian Competition Authority.

RASK attorneys-at-law Ramon Rask and Marina Lapidus represented the client throughout the transaction, performing the due diligence, drafting the transaction documents, negotiating with the buyer and completion.

The main activities of the divested companies are the construction, maintenance, and operation of power plants, helping companies to economize network and connection costs, increasing/decreasing capacity and rebuilding existing electricity connections according to changing needs. Upon closing the companies managed 53 MW of electricity connections passing through almost 80 GWh of electricity per year.
