RASK consults on marine dredging operations contract with world leading expert Jan de Nul.

Case

RASK advised Pärnu Sadam in concluding a dredging operations contract with one of the world’s leading experts in marine dredging, Jan De Nul. The company has previously carried out dredging operations, for example, in the Panama Canal and the Suez Canal.

Based on the contract, Jan De Nul conducted dredging operations in the entire shipping canal in the Port of Pärnu in 2015, taking the draught from 7.2 metres to 7.7 metres. This was the first dredging operation for Jan De Nul in the Baltic Countries

Pärnu Sadam AS is the port authority for the Port of Pärnu and owner of the basic infrastructures at the port. Pärnu Sadam manages vessel traffic at the port and renders stevedore services.
