RASK consults KredEx on sale of national Electromobility (ELMO) network and quick charge infrastructure.

Case

RASK advised KredEx SA regarding the preparation of the sale of ELMO, the national electric vehicle quick charging infrastructure. During the transfer of the ELMO infrastructure, RASK compiled the seller’s legal audit, defining what constitutes the infrastructure and the relevant rights and obligations.

RASK also assisted the client regarding intellectual property issues with ABB, who had been operating the infrastructure.

The Estonian Electromobility Programme (ELMO) is a programme jointly launched by the Government of the Republic of Estonia and Mitsubishi Corporation to support the acquisition of energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly electric cars and rechargeable hybrids. The programme was implemented by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications, the Ministry of Social Affairs and KredEx.

Established in 2001 by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications, KredEx SA is a financing institution helping Estonian enterprises develop quicker and expand to foreign markets.
