RASK Advised Tensor Estate on the Acquisition of a Stake in MCF Group Estonia
Case
The law firm RASK advised Tensor Estate, a developer of high-tech projects, on a transaction that resulted in the company becoming a new shareholder in MCF Group Estonia, which operates the Greenergy Data Center in Hüüru, Harju County.
The transaction team included Attorney-at-Laws Karl Erik Esko and Karl-Kristjan Kahm and Attorney Liise Saar.
The transaction supports Tensor Estate’s long-term goal of developing a digital infrastructure in Estonia suitable for international technology companies. The rapid development of artificial intelligence is driving demand for data processing capacity and data centers - implementing such projects requires long-term planning, legal advice, and strong partners.
MCF Group Estonia operates a highly reliable data center in Hüüru, just outside Tallinn, which was built to allow for gradual expansion in line with market needs. An expansion of the data center is currently underway to increase its capacity to serve the growing data processing needs of international technology companies. The Kolme Mere Initiative Investment Fund (3SIIF) remains the majority shareholder of MCF Group Estonia.
