RASK advised Net Group on IP and licensing matters
Case
RASK attorneys-at-law Timo Kullerkupp, Kai Villemson and Keidi Kõiv advised Net Group, a leading provider of business and software solutions, in connection with the development and licensing of its web-based platform Schoolaby. RASK conducted a comprehensive IP audit of the software components used in Schoolaby and supported Net Group in licensing the platform under EUPL v2, enabling free global access to the study materials marketplace, which brings together digital teaching content and facilitates its wide distribution.
In a separate matter, RASK also advised Net Group on legal issues related to the development of a nationwide chatbot system, designed to be used by state authorities and institutions across online platforms to streamline communication between citizens and the state.
Net Group delivers smart software solutions that help clients enhance business efficiency, increase sales and improve customer relationships. Its clients include governments, telecoms, energy companies and banks across Estonia, the Nordic countries, Europe and Africa.
