Case

RASK advised Rein Kilk as a former member of the board of Werol Tehased (in bankruptcy) in a court action against Rein Kilk and other members of the board of Werol Tehased initiated by the trustee in bankruptcy for 6.8 million euros in damages.

Before going bankrupt, Werol Tehased AS owned the largest Baltic rapeseed oil production plant located in Jõgeva county. In 2007, Rein Kilk acquired the plant from the state.

Case ended with a compromise that led the trustee to quit the action.

Werol Tehased AS owned the largest oilseed oil plant in Jõgeva County before the bankruptcy. Rein Kilk acquired the factory in 2007 from the Estonian state.
